The Stephen Beard Foundation is opening up the next funding round for small grants for local projects and activities.
Grants of up to £1,000 are available. Please check exclusions before applying.
The deadline for applications is Friday 26th May 2023.
The fund can support community groups, charities and projects based on Wirral that focus on helping the community with mental health needs. The Foundation will award small grants of up to £1000. Application closing date is Friday 26 th May 2023. Decisions are expected to be made within a month at the next trustee meeting.
Applications should be no more than two sides of A4 and detail:
What the organisation does
What the money would be used for
What are the projected outcomes and how will this be measured
How many people will benefit from the funding
Applications should be submitted to stephenbeardfoundation@gmail.com for the attention of Laura Laing with:
A copy of a recent bank statement (account should be in the organisation’s name) no more than 3 months old
Relevant organisation safeguarding policy
Funding for projects that are not related to mental health or where trustees do not feel there is a sufficient relationship
Organisations with an annual income over £250,000
Organisations that are not based and operating on Wirral
Funding for individuals
Funding for costs or projects that have already taken place
