The Fund

The fund can support community groups, charities and projects based on Wirral that focus on helping the community with mental health needs. The Foundation will award small grants of up to £1000.

Applications should be no more than two sides of A4 and detail:

• What the organisation does

• What the money would be used for

• What are the projected outcomes and how will this be measured

• How many people will benefit from the funding

Applications should be submitted to stephenbeardfoundation@gmail.com for the attention of Laura Laing with:

• A copy of a recent bank statement (account should be in the organisation’s name) no more than 3 months old

• Relevant organisation safeguarding policy

Exclusions

• Funding for projects that are not related to mental health or where trustees do not feel there is a sufficient relationship

• Organisations with an annual income over £250,000

• Organisations that are not based and operating on Wirral

• Funding for individuals

• Funding for costs or projects that have already taken place

Please note, we cannot award funding to all organisations that apply
